Social Media Tips from Sandra Gebhardt

Tips to feel comfortable on video:

  1. Find a place that has good lighting.  Go outside or buy a cheap lighting ring.  Usually there is a good place inside your office or home.  Expirement around with different natural lighting.
  2. Find something that makes your feel confident.  For me it's red lipstick...but find your own. Is it your background, a specific hat, something you hold in your hand.  Try a few things and as a bonus check out the book Alter Ego Effect.
  3. DO NOT write out a detailed script.  Maybe have a couple bullet points you want to cover but don't make it a big chore.  Talk about what you want to say and finish the video when your thoughts are done.
  4. Work with a coach that has a group you can form relationships with.  Sometimes it's easier to run some videos with other people.  Of course I suggest mine A Bit Too Much Marketing.

A Fun Fact To Share

  • Blond brownies, also known as blondies, are believed to have originated in the United States in the early 20th century. They were created as a variation of the traditional chocolate brownies by replacing cocoa with brown sugar, giving them a lighter color and unique flavor.

  • Unlike regular brownies that typically include chocolate, blond brownies incorporate ingredients like butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract. However, they also provide a versatile base for various add-ins such as nuts, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, or dried fruits.

  • Blond brownies gained popularity in the 1980s, becoming a favorite treat in many American households. With their chewy texture, rich caramel-like taste, and endless customization possibilities, blondies have found their way into bakeries, cafes, and dessert menus worldwide.
